Why this matters
I've run this pattern at airline scale.
For my day job I own an enterprise design system and content platform. It grew from 5 teams to 35 and now carries four brands and ten markets. When the company added a brand, it was a token file, not a rebuild. When it added a market, it was a locale.
The dials above are the same three ideas: tokens for theme, structured content for words and images, and a UI layer that can change shape without touching either.
AI & automation
Structured content is what makes AI reliable.
The AI assistant above works because it reads an entry, not a page. I build AI the same way: the model writes, code does the math, guardrails check every output, and every failure becomes a test. It drafts my user stories at work, and it runs a 40-person league's weekly content on its own.
- Fact-sheet-onlyThe model only sees verified data
- GuardrailsInput redaction, output filters, JSON repair
- Failures → testsAbout 25 test files and growing
- AutomationStory drafting, content pipelines, reporting
